Screen issues

Hello

i have series 1 watch 3 years and the screen is coming away. I have looked online and this is a known problem with the battery swelling and pushing the screen out.

I went to the apple shop I bought the watch and they said it is not a known issue and it would cost £250 for them to repair.

This doesn’t seem fair as I haven’t misused the watch, but the faulty battery or design has caused the problem.

Does anyone have any advice?
