IOS 13.1.3 battery drain

Well I guess another update, another waste of time as the bugs on the iPhone XR are still there. Weird battery drain. IT SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN A DAY'S LIFE OF BATTERY. I had to change my device for another one and its the same problem. When will apple wake up and start fixing this important battery drain issues. Apple support is stating a ' Hardware Problem' No I don' think so as everyone is complaining on these pages about how bad the software is and need a fix. My battery is at 100% capacity. It is a problem with the SOFTWARE. Also stop sending us links to apple's pages about lithium-ion batteries and how they work, battery performance etc... ITS A NEW PHONE. We need this fixed. Especially on the iPhone XR which should have more than a day's battery life!!! WAKE UP APPLE!! WE BUY PRODUCTS WITH A LOT OF EFFORT FOR SPENDING MONEY AND WE GET THIS IN RETURN. I know I'm angry but I've just had enough of this nonsense!!! :(

OK, do this-->Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Don't log in to iCloud, install any apps or add any email accounts, and check your battery life for a day. If your battery life is still bad restore your phone using iTunes so it gets a fresh copy of iOS 13. Report the results. If battery life is OK log in to iCloud. Test again for a day.

If battery life is still OK restore your backup and test again. If battery life gets worse you have a defective app. Start with Facebook as a likely suspect.

IOS 13.2 has not changed my mind about the battery performance. 5-6 hours of screen on time on an XR. Outrageous!

That’s ok but nearest Genius Bar is 30+ miles away apple needs to sort it quickly I don’t use my phone and battery still drains I can watch it drain in front of my eyes 🙄

If it’s been one minute without my IPhone 7 being on charge it goes down by 10 % and it dies before reaching 0% but keeps on powering on and off by its self

The battery drain with this update is, by far, the worse yet. It reminds me of when I used Android phones. Get it together. This is ridiculous.

Well I loved my iPhone but battery drain now so bad sitting in my pocket from 7.00 am to 13.30 it’s gone to 12% battery only used phone 3 times going with Samsung next Apple so bad now

If it’s an indicator issue then Apple needs to address this. We won’t keep on recalibrating our devices. (like twice) It should be solved !!!

My iPhone 6S drains completely within 2.5hrs, this is ridiculous! Please roll-back this disastrous update asap!

I am also having this issue, but I also noticed that with this update settings are automatically Turing themselves on. I turn off cellular since I am almost always connected to WiFi and do not want my data plan to go over. I also do not use low power mode in battery settings or Bluetooth. I find that all three of these keep getting turned on by themselves. I have had to start monitoring these settings, as I notice my battery drains quickly.

This is a public user to user technical forum, if you have an issue with your phone battery, then do something about like scheduling an appointment with the Genius Bar and take it to the nearest Apple store.
