MacPro Mid 2012 Firmware Update issue
MacPro Mid 2012 will not show Mojave as an available update so I cannot install the firmware update as part of the installer. Current OS is 10.13.6
How do I download the firmware update by itself?

Mac Pro
/usr/libexec/firmwarecheckers/eficheck/eficheck --integrity-check

I was able to collect the following from the computer:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro5,1
Boot ROM: MP51.0085B00
SMC Version (system): 1.39f11
SMC Version (processor tray): 1.39f11
At this point I have done a fresh reinstall from USB stick from 10.7 Lion, updated to 10.11 El Capitan, and it appears to be taking the 10.14 High Sierra install.
What are you saying, you can not upgrade? What is the error message.
Firmware updates are included in the macOS upgrade path, there are no more stand alone firmware update.
You can see from the terminal.app your current firmware, copy and paste:
/usr/libexec/firmwarecheckers/eficheck/eficheck --integrity-check

It is a valid command however your MacPro5,1 age does not support.
Good computing DocOct ! Sounds like you sorted the issue.
