Does macOS Support ASCII's like PCs?

Hi. Is the Mac ASCII limited to just these (pressing option, shift or shift + option keys):

zxcvbnm,.///asdfghjkl;’’qwertyuiop[]]]]\\1234567890-=

ZXCVBNM<>?ASDFGHJKL:”QWERTYUIOP{}|~!@#$%^&*()_+

Ω≈ç√∫˜µ≤≥÷åß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬…æœ∑´®†¥¨ˆøπ“‘«¡™£¢∞§¶•ªº–≠

¸˛Ç◊ı˜Â¯˘¿ÅÍÎÏ˝ÓÔÒÚÆŒ„´‰ˇÁ¨ˆØ∏”’»⁄€‹›fifl‡°·‚—±

or does it have more. In the PC you have alt codes; combine for example alt + number (alt + 9774 for example produces the peace sign).

Thanks in advance.

God bless, Proverbs 31

Apple applications offer Edit menu : Emoji & Symbols (control + cmd + spacebar) where can add categories from the customize gear icon, and see all Unicode characters. You double-click on the central displayed character that you want in your document and it is inserted.

In System Preferences : Keyboard : Input Sources, you can add [+] the Unicode Hex Input which when selected from the menu bar list of inputs, would allow you to press and hold the option key and then enter the Unicode number for the character you want input which would also appear on that preceding character palette in the first paragraph.

You can also type and hold a character key down to show a selected list of accents for that character.
