resending text messages to the same person without having to write it out again

I have seen other instructions to resend messages on iphones, but the options stated on those instruction do not appear on my iphone, which is an iphone SE, totally up to date.

I have two messages, each to a different mobile phone number but on the same contact, which I wish to resend, without having to mess about writing it all out again, or 'copying and pasting' which does not appear to be an option anyway.

All those fancy additions which nobody wants, but a simple 'resend' option is not there.

The messages went as an ordinary text message originally, as the recipients do not have iphones, so I just want to send the same message again, to the same people, on the same contact.

Is there a way to do this please?

This doesn’t work for a whole conversation, but what you can do is tap and hold down on the individual text that you want to resend, and you should get the options Copy and More. Tap on More and then tap on the right pointing arrow at the bottom. That places the text into a new text bubble and allows you to resend it. Type the contact name or number at the top and sent the text again.

Thank you for your input - I messed around a bit and found a 'copy' option, and resent one of the messages.

That will do for now.
