MacBook Air plugged in but not charging

My MacAir is less than 2 years old and I have constant issues with the battery not charging. The battery icon says 'Battery plugged in but not charging'.

I reset the SMC every now and again and then it will work. Or if I leave it plugged in overnight without resetting the SMC it will eventually charge.

I have cleaned the charger and the Mac.

Please help, it is really annoying!!

Macbook Air only works when plugged in. Shows 'charging' lightning bolt, but battery percentage stays at 4%. Dies as soon as it's unplugged. The little light on the charger isn't illuminating. Started suddenly yesterday and now as soon as I unplug the mac it dies. Plug it back in and it'll say 'charging' at anywhere from 1'5%, but the percentage never actually grows. Is there a way to determine if it's the charger or the battery that's being problematic?

MacBook air M2, turns on in direct line power cable. But battery not charging My MacBook air is working fine. It has no problem in turn On/Off. But it's not charging. Work with the direct power cable but the battery not charging. When I remove the power cable is turning off. And the battery setting options it's showing battery not charging.
