Transfer Photos Metadata

I'd like to migrate my photo library from my MacBook to an iPad without losing my photos metadata (titles, descriptions). I don't want to export them using my MacBook Photos app because then I'm just creating desktop files. Is there an iPad app that lets me view my photos metadata on the iPad after the transfer? Thanks for your help. Best wishes, Mel

I am hoping sincerely, that Photos on the iPad will soon become more powerful. Photos on the iPad has always been hobbled by the iPhone. APple could not do more on the iPad than on the iPhone, because both devices have been running the same system. But now the iPad got its own system iPad OS 13, and the iPhone and iPad can drift apart. if we are lucky, Apple will provide a Photos.app for the iPad, that is no longer restricted by what an iPhone can display on its tiny display.

Photos iOS on the iPad cannot show titles, keywords, descriptions.

But you can use the titles and keywords in searches in Photos.

You can also see them third-party apps like Photo Inspector, ViewEXIF, or Metapho.

If you sync your Photos Library to the iPad with iCloud Photos, all titles, descriptions, keywords will be synced to the iPad as well. This is the easiest way to get your library losslessly to the iPad. But you may need to sign up for more cloud staorage.
