App approval not shown on iPhone but shown on IPad

I have always had family sharing, I’m the organiser and Parent/Guardian. After upgrading to iOS 13 apps requested by the family for approval are not coming through to my iPhone, but are going through to my IPad. They previously went to both. I have made no changes to the setting on my phone, so I'm puzzled as to what has caused this. My iPad and iPhone are logged in with the same iCloud account, so i'm puzzled as to why my iPhone is not getting the app request.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I understand you're not receiving Ask to Buy approval notifications. I'm happy to assist you with this.

Let's make sure your iTunes Store account is signed into the same account as the iPad that is receiving the requests. You can do this by navigating to Settings > iTunes & App Stores.

If Ask to Buy isn't working

If these settings are correct, sign out of iTunes & App store on all of the devices involved, restart and sign back in to see if this resolves your issue:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
