iTunes crashes when adding new folders to library

I have two computers running the latest version of Windows 10. When attempting to add a folder or file to my iTunes library on one computer, iTunes crashes. I have attempted numerous clean reinstallation's with no success. Any help?

For what it’s worth, I have fixed my own problem. it turns out that iTunes does not play well with a Windows 10 system operating with spanned HDDs. Once I deleted the partitions, iTunes went back to operating as advertised.

Not a spanned HDD issue; a display driver caused the problem.
