Calendar invite response not sent message

Does anyone know how to get rid of endless messages saying that a response I sent to a calendar invite did not get through? Driving me mad.

Calendar Invitation Hi, Anyone know how to get rid of a notification which simply keeps coming back repeatedly? It reads, “‘Calendar Invitation’ Your response to the calendar invitation cannot be sent” There is no indication which calendar or which response. How do I stop it?
