If I purchase an imac and upgrade the fusion drive to ssd will the fusion drive still be there on the system?
it comes with 2tb fusion drive by default but when i pay extra to get 1 tb of ssd will the fusion drive still be there?

Keep in mind that a Fusion Drive is a vary small SSD, plus a large HDD and that the SSD upgrade is much faster.

Besides, you can easily add additional fast storage by using USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt 3/USB-C external drives.
No, the 1T and 2T SSD options replace the Fusion Drive.
Man that sucks! I was expecting more storage since it is by default part of the system.
