iPad/OS13 - Keynote, How to add MY data into Piechart?

Greetings,

I am having issues inserting my data, into a keynote pie chart I added onto my slide.

All I get is edit data and edit series. Which does not have a way of me adding my data.

This link is not helping or is explaining it in a way that I do not understand:

There seem’s to be no option available that allows me, to input in my data so I can see it visualized in the chart.

EXAMPLE (Fake Info):

Population in San Diego is 10,000

Population in New York is 2,000,000

No way of inputting that data into the piechart??
