i am trying to make a chart and the data do not appear

i prepare the data and i insert the chart but no matter what i do the chart does not introduce the data i need

Generally (with some exceptions) you need to actually select the data after preparing it, then insert the chart.

Have a look at this entry in the Numbers User Guide for Mac.

Also have a look at the 'Charting Basics' template at File > New in the menu.
