Since the tv OS13 upgrade, the TV can't play anything from my Mac's iTunes library. When I choose "Computers" the system just spins. (All that changed is the tvOS upgrade). Home sharing is on; iCloud is on. in Settings - Users and Accounts, everything appears correct. iTunes has Home Sharing on.
I have restarted the AppleTVmore than once. Any tips?

Are both the Mac and the Apple TV on the same network, don't assume they are please check!
Also, do you have Home Sharing on the Apple TV on and set correctly?
I suspect a network issue. If you have a large home or have a lot of Internet dependent devices your network may not be adequate. Does this sound like your setup at all?
Thanks for your reply. The situation 'healed itself' after over than an hour of spinning. Really. After your earlier reply I left the Apple TV on and walked away, (kind of ticked off at the amount of time I've wasted, wishing I'd not upgraded the tvOS). An hour later I checked the TV, no change. About 15 minutes later all was well. The iTunes library was on screen. It's working now and I have no idea what was wrong. Just one of those things.
While anything is possible, it's not likely. It's a small house with very high speed Internet and a mix of wifi and wired Ethernet. Connectivity is generally rock solid. The computer was line of sight to the AppleTV.
Yes they are; I've set and reset Home Sharing on the mac and the AppleTV and restarted both.
