Removing recents/suggestions when texting

Since I updated to 13.1 I can no longer “remove from recents” contact suggestions by clicking the “i” when I am typing in a name on imessage. It will now show random work group message contacts I haven’t used in years.

Also, when texting and a word is misspelled, at certain times, I can no longer click the underlined work and have the proper spelling options come up to select.

Please help!
