After upgrading to Catalina I saw a new folder on my desktop that says Relocated Files. I have tried to open the files but there is a message that says I don't have permission to view the files. I can't view them. How do I get permission to view these files?

Do a Get Info (command-i) on the folder. Under the Sharing & Permissions section, click on the lock to unlock. Then choose to give yourself "Read & Write" privileges.
Wow, and thank you! I would have never figured that out. It is some sort of playlist that I need an app to open. One thing leads another.
