I have a portable firefox browser, I followed the instructions written at https://thedonalisa.com/run-exe-on-mac But I am unable to run portable browser on my macbook pro. I think I followed the same steps as mentioned and I am also able to run some of the .exe softwares, on Mac. Any help in this regard will highly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can create a bootable Windows partition using the BootCamp Assistant that is included with macOS and a legal install file for Win 10. Please see:

You can also use an emulation program like Parallels, Wine, etc.
.exe files are Windows files and cannot be run on Mac OS. I'm not sure how you were able run any before?

If you are trying to run Windows software, then either a Virtual machine or BootCamp with a Windows OS installed.
Yes there are some limited apps they will run in a Wine environment.
