How to run .exe file on macbook pro

I have a portable firefox browser, I followed the instructions written at https://thedonalisa.com/run-exe-on-mac But I am unable to run portable browser on my macbook pro. I think I followed the same steps as mentioned and I am also able to run some of the .exe softwares, on Mac. Any help in this regard will highly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is a portable firefox browser?

What are you trying to accomplish with running an .exe file

If you are trying to run Windows software, then either a Virtual machine or BootCamp with a Windows OS installed.

Yes there are some limited apps they will run in a Wine environment.

from your link above:

".exe is a file that can only

execute and run on windows operating systems. It means we can not

directly run it on an Apple machine. To Run .exe on mac, we have two

choices.

    1. Install the software, namely wine on mac, which is free software.
    2. Install windows operating system on mac"

please advise.
