Macbook 12" locked up
My MacBook 12" is seized up with the message "apple.com/support -2100F" on the screen.
It does not respond to any keys.
Any suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks for your reply.
To update this thread for the benefit of anyone else, I resolved the problem. I could not boot into safe mode as the machine was locked up and not responding to ANY keystrokes. Instead I disconnected from the power supply and waited for the battery to go flat. Took only about five hours so something must have been going on behind that locked screen!
Once I restored power by plugging the charger back in, the machine restarted itself and without asking, downloaded and installed a large Apple update then rebooted itself again. After which, it has worked flawlessly!
One further piece of information, I had previously had difficulty with the keyboard. On waking from sleep mode I could not enter my password as the keys were all returning the wrong characters and hence wrong password was being seen by the computer. I had used safe mode previously a couple of times to change the selected keyboard, to get some usability back.
Thanks for your post.
