iPhone XR - Calls, and iTunes

Hi there, I’m having problems when I am taking a call or listening to music on the device. Music keeps stopping suddenly when I’m listening to iTunes and when I’m taking a call it cuts off. I’m concerned that this is a hardware issue? Thanks, Justine

Problem With iphone Hi, I have a couple of problems with my iPhone XR, same problems seems to affect the Xs max of my friend. Often times when I get a call it doesn’t ring and the person calling gets call rejected. This happens even if I’m using it or not it happened many times. Being called is a major phone utility it’s what the phone is made for primary and to have it not function is a serious problem. And another problem is when I get notifications if I’m listening to music the sound of the music decreases but it doesn’t revert back to its original volume. I have to either wait a long time or close de application and turn it back on. I listen music on iTunes. I have the latest iOS version installed so it’s not that. Can anyone help me with this?

With most recent software update to iphone 14, music or podcasts do NOT stop when I receive a phone call. Hi all: With the most recent IOS update on my iphone14, music (via apple music app) or podcast (via the apple podcast app) will continue to play when I receive a call. How can I return to how the phone once performed whereby the music or podcast would stop when a call came through. I would like to not need to stop music manually when a call comes in. Can the IOS be updated to fix the bug?

Speakerphone no longer functional all of a sudden on iPhone SE? SE gen 3 ios 16.7.2 - speakerphone conversations ended suddenly this past weekend. Ringtones & notifications work fine. No system changes made - it happened while talking on phone. Reboot/recharge no joy. Halp! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help others answer your question:

Are you listening to music from the Music app on your iPhone, while browsing through the iTunes Store when your music unexpectedly stops playing?
If not, are you trying to watch video content or use Podcasts while listening to music?
