select the disk where you want to install and there isn’t any disk

I have just formatted my mac and now its stuck . It is asking to select the disk where you want to install and there isn’t any disk. What shall I do now??

Quit the installer and go back to DiskUtility >View>Show All Devices—


verify by reformatting the "parent" drive as GUID / and apfs.


Then continue with installation
