Apple Watch region lock?

If I purchase iwatch from UAE , will the cellular function work in other country outside UAE or it is locked only for Etisalte network UAE

There is no roaming, so you would have to sign up with another cellular provider.

Apple Watch region I purchased an Apple Watch with cellular feature last week in Australia. Brought it back to the US and tried to set it up but it says “Apple Watch does not support AT&T cellular in this region”. Has anyone overcome this issue or have I wasted a lot of money?

It will work everywhere but the Americas and Puerto Rico.
