Hi,
I have a mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina.
I've been trying to update to Catalina for over a week and I keep getting a timeout message
The request timed out. An error occurred while installing the selected updates.
Any ideas on why this would happen?

If you're able to download and install macOS, then you can safely delete the test user account after the system has been updated. Thank you, I did it via the macOS Recovery method and it worked perfectly. Now fully updated
