It looks like that is what has happened.
They did the same for the YouTube Website on iPad 2 and 3 models, but I found a couple of third party Web browsers that can still access the YouTube Website for those older iPads.
If you have never installed any third party Web browsers on that 2010, iPad 1 in the past when these were still availabke, getting them now is next to impossible and I am not sure those third party Web browsers will work, now.
I have a couple off third party Web browsers on my 2010 iPad and the YouTube Website isn't working with those, either, unfortunately.
So, it looks as if no more YouTube, at all, on a nearly 10-year old iPad 1, now.
Google doesn't care about 7, 8, 9 and 10 -year old tablet devices.
It is what it is.
Maybe it's time you consider getting a much newer and still supported iPad/
The 1st gen 2010 iPad just isn't worth struggling with this kind of stuff any longer.
It ONLY got 1 full year of iOS updates from Apple.
Apple couldn't even make the underpowered hardware in this iPad work for even 2-3 years of iOS upgrades/updates, much less 4-5 years of upgrades/updates!
Time for a newer, more capable iPad.
Best of Luck to You!
