Updates? Are they necessary?

I just updated my iPhone XS and now it is telling me to update again! I don’t want to keep doing that if my version is fine or I’m just making do with what I ended up with! I don’t want that notification in my general settings....how do I delete it off my phone without having to update it

iPhone XS, iOS 13

For a good idea of what is going on in a particular update, you should tap on "Learn More" and read the release notes.

In this case, iOS 13 was released with some pretty major bugs that never got discovered during beta testing. 13.1.3 is the latest step in killing those bugs. So, if you already took the leap into iOS 13, you probably should accept this bug fix update.
