samsung scx-3400 drivers

I actually bought this printer in 2015, when Samsung had the last printer driver...

What is this degeneracy?! You buy a printer to last 10 years, not one year. Period. On Windows 10 it works in 2019. There are drivers on the website. What is this degeneracy Apple?!

The printer worked on Sierra, btw Apple.

Ok dude, let me help you cause these apple **** are useless IT plebs:

1. You find out on which ip your printer is. You do this by two ways:

1.1 You go into your router via your web interface or whatever else you see fit. You should be able to see your connected devices, if there is a printer.

1.2 You go to this website https://www.samsungprinterdriver.com/2019/03/samsung-scx-3400-printer-driver-mac.html and install the first SAMSUNG EASY WIRELESS SET UP V1.4.25. When you run this either connect your printer thru USB(more reliable) or see wifi. At one point you should see your ip on the printer. Don't try to much with this software, it doesn't work to use the software alone. At least you have the ip.

2 You go to Printers and Scanners> Add(plus sign) > IP > Put in the ip address , keep airprint protocol, queue leave blank, Name, put anything("your mother's fanny printer"), Location "fanny", use airprint. At the end you press Add. Now your printer should be working, but not your Scanner. Apple goys are still useless, yes.

3 Next, for the Scanners. Go to this website: https://samsung-printerdrivers.com/samsung-printer-scx-3400-drivers/ and download this: Scan Driver ver V2.31.42 for Mac OS 10.5 ~ 10.11 , it should have 51mb.

4 I installed a thing called Scan Assistant. You should find it in the folder either zip or folder. If apple says it is from an unidentified developer give Apple the **** you sign and go to Settings>Sec and Privacy> Open Anyway.

5 After install open this Scan Assistant, click on the "..." near Scanner, go to search and it should find it. If not, just search by ip address.

And there you have it, the chad right wing way of making stuff work. If you wanna be a true Chad, get red pilled and learn Linux.

The latest driver for this Samsung printer ended with OS X 10.11 El Capitan. Which make me believe that Samsung is not planning on providing any updates anytime soon.

At this point, you have three choices:

1. Work with Samsung support to have them develop a driver that will work with modern Mac operating systems.
2. Use a VM manager, like Parallels or VMware, to create a VM of El Capitan. Then run in this VM when you need to print to this printer.
3. Get a newer printer.
