I have apparently forgotten my passcode for my iPad. I have managed to disable it while trying to figure out the code. I went through the steps online to recover/restore/whatever and it just keeps saying to enter the passcode to connect to itunes. Help!

You will need to follow the procedures in the support document “if you can’t update or restore your iPad”. This will walk you on how to put your iPad in recovery mode in order to restore.

I've already done that. It starts the ipad like it's doing it then pops up and tells me the ipad has been disabled.
