Factory reset old MacBook

How do I factory reset an old MacBook circa about 2002? It’s running 10.6.8. Pressing command-R on restart is not working. I want to dispose of the computer (such a shame as it’s in fantastic condition) however, I can’t seem to upgrade it any longer to be able to use the internet

The only way to reset that old of a Mac is using the install DVD that were issued with it.

It is far too old to use the internet recovery which only became available 10 years after that Mac was released.
