My mac will not boot. It is stuck on the apple logo.

I have tried "all" fixes I have found, but have not managed to boot from main disk. I have however managed to install OS on an external disk, and boot form there. When inside the new OS I can reach all files on the main disk, and copy them out. All except photos.

As far as i can understand, all my photos are stored as a massive file, that I cannot open. (As I am not the right user.) Is there a way to extraxt theese photos? Tha mac seems to work perfectly when running on the external disk.

It's not a file, it's a package - this is, a folder that looks like a file.

Right click on it and choose 'show package contents'
