Music scripts

I have several Apple Music scripts purchased from Doug Adams. After upgrading to 10.15 they no longer work. I just downloaded a new version and put it into my script file but it does no show up in the tunes menu. The particular script that I want to run is to find and remove dead tracks.

the scrip is supposed to show up in musics script menu but is doesn't

Am I Doing something incorrectly?

Is there another way to accomplish this?

Thanks

Have you tried restarting Music app.

Another thing: you claim that the folder has about 10 scripts that were available before upgrading Catalina. That's impossible. Perhaps you're confusing the two apps: iTunes and Music.

I mean, the old scripts for iTunes were located in iTunes/Scripts inside your Library. New scripts for Music have to be located in Music/Scripts inside your Library. It's a different path.

Before Catalina there was no Music/Scripts folders (because Music app didn't exist) and Music app now ignores what is in iTunes/Scripts folder because it requires Music/Scripts path.

Sorry if I sound naive.

Thanks for the information the scrips ewer in the wrong place. I keep getting into trouble because Apple keeps changing the name of their programs. I have been using a Mac for at least 30 years and First it is itunes then it is music and next upgrade it will be some other name

I will try to be more careful of the program that I am using. I will probably be gong to my grave still using the name iTunes
