Quick start IOS version

Hi

im going to set my mums new phone up later when it arrives.

Hopefully im going to be able to use Quickstart.

Are you able to use it if one phone has iOS 11/12 and the other has IOS 13?

or do they both have to be on the same version (not including little updates like 11.1 12.1 etc)

I wasn't sure when it said iOS 11 or later but doesn't say if they both have to be on the same.

thanks

Reading this support guide, you can use "Quick Start" if the old iPhone is running iOS 11 or later:--> Use Quick Start to transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the old (AND the new) devices are running iOS 12.4 or later, you can use "iPhone Migration" procedure.
