Can I still use old car charging cable for new iPhone Pro?

For years we’ve charged an iPhone 6 using a cable which connects to a USB port in the console between the seats in our Subaru Forester. Now we have two new iPhone Pros which, of course, use different charging. Is it safe while traveling to use the cable in the Forester? (From what I read online it *seems* the only difference would be *slower* charging.)

Yes, you can use the standard lightning cables in your Subaru Forester with your brand new iPhone 11 Pro! Although it will charge slower, you will still be able to use it without it causing any harm to the battery, logic board, etc.
