Used iTunes gift Cards

I purchased this afternoon 2 iTunes gift cards to send to someone for their birthday via email. I took pictures with my iPhone with receipts and back for pin number and sent to my laptop to send via e-mail. When they tried to use them, it told them they were used. I checked to see if the amount was mistakenly added to my id and I don't show a balance. Please advise.

Gift card accident I mistyped an email, sending a gift card to a non existing account, or some random person via the App Store. Is there a way I can get the money that I sent back?

I send $700 Apple store gift card to a buy with my receipt and he said my card is used Hi Apple support please I need your help on my cards cause something really bad is going on right now which you are the only one that can help me out with this ..
