I tried connecting an iPhone with a cable to the iPad Pro 11 inch and the Ethernet menu appears in the settings but there is not internet connectivity. I also tried hooking up an Ethernet adapter to the iPad and connected a network cable from my router and also that doesn’t work.
Any one facing this issue? I watched videos on YouTube with people actually using Ethernet.

Yes the USB Ethernet adapter works on Mac. Even when i plug in my iPhone, the Ethernet menu appears but no connectivity.
Surprisingly i have contacted apple and they said that Ethernet is not supported on IOS lol

Here is a screenshot I just took of my iPad running iPadOS 13 and using Ethernet. Whenever I perform large network file transfers I always prefer to use Ethernet over Wi-Fi.
