Bad CPU type in executable

Right after upgrading to Catalina running any python command (even python -v) I'm getting Bad CPU type in executable. I was using python 2.7 mac os version

MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.15

Found the solution. Needed to change my terminal to use zsh

bad CPU type in executable in Catalina Hey guys, I'm getting this when trying to open an App in Catalina, When I use the GUI it just won't open, but when I use Terminal it gives me that. I already tried switching my shell to zsh, but that did nothing. I noticed the App has a file called osx-intel in it and that's exactly what I have, so it doesn't make any sense to get that message when everything seems to be fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Is there any way to still get this to run? I've seen this question before, but none of the answers seemed to be applicable to my situation. I'm not an expert, so apologies if I'm missing something obvious.
