MainSearch or DynamicPanel

When I opened my MacBook Pro today I was hijacked to a window that said “ Apple wants to make a change” and the only option was OK. Then a Loading window popped up and something called MainSearch was referenced. Also DynamicPanel.app was referenced and it’s installed in my Finder. What’s going on?

Remove Yahoo Search hack from Safari I recently downloaded and installed OS Mojave and ever since then my searches in Safari are redirected from my default search engine, Google, to Yahoo. I see this is a common hijack that can get installed when downloading new third party software but I only downloaded the Mac OS. What can I do, short of reinstalling the system, to remove this hack? I've tried using Malwarebytes and deleting an apple.com plist related to Safari (don't recall exactly which one) and zapped the pram on restart. When I first test this problem out, I get a Google search, on second and subsequent tries, it goes back to Yahoo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, the easier the better of course. No extensions are installed.

Cannot remove Search Marquis I have followed all the instructions posted here to remove search marquis but it still persists. I have even downloaded and run malware bytes and the CC anti-virus software both of which found and got rid suspicious .exe programs (now say clean) but still Safari is being hijacked. It has gotten so bad that tonight I had to switch devices to even get to the Apple site to ask for help. Typically, I do not download willy-nilly on to my computer so I have no idea where this came from, I only know this started on my MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 after the Big Sur update. Any suggestions anyone?

I understand that you're concerned about changes made to your MacBook recently. I'd like to help and you may have malware installed. I'd suggest that you download Malwarebytes to scan your MacBook Pro: Malwarebytes
