Iphone x touch not working not working

My iPhone x touch stopped working all of a sudden not responding to any gestures. Can some one help me with the cause of this.? Phone has never been dropped or scratched. It's been kept in a new condition through out. Soft reset won't work and even restoring the phone didn't help Kindly help me with the cause. I came to know that Apple had announced the new iPhone x screen have a part which when it fails the touch stops working. Can someone provide a list of the serial number which has this part?

Pleasee help me.... M feeling helpless here.
