If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

Dear Sir,

I already accessed this link but my problem seems different. This device was a gift to me and not registered under my account. Since cannot log in , I also do not remember the IMEI number. How should I proceed to reset the device.
