Pages and High Sierra 10.13

I installed MacOS High Sierra 10.13 and can't install Pages and Numbers from AppStore , because it supports only with 10.14!

What should I do? I need office software...

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.13

Actually, if you have purchased/installed Pages, Keynote, or Numbers previously, if you sign-in with your AppleID and go to the Purchased section of the App Store, you will find the application install history. When you click on the Install button there, it will ask you if you want to download the previous version of the app that will work on non 10.14 machines.

This should alleviate any fear that your gracefully aging Mac will become obsolete anytime soon :)

Today I was able to download both Numbers and Keynote for High Sierra from the app store. When I tried to do it directly it did not work. I searched for "numbers High Sierra Download" and clicked the top Apple link. This took me to a page where I chose "Download" which opened the App Store. Instead of "Get" the button said, "Install". When I clicked on that it offered to let me download an earlier compatible version. Tried it with Keynote and the same process was available. When I tried it with Pages it tells me I need a higher version OS.

Maybe they're correcting this and just haven't done it for Pages yet...... maybe.....

It is a good idea to read previous posts in a thread as your circumstance was already addressed. If your Mac is unable to upgrade to Mojave or Catalina, then you will not be able to download any of Pages, Numbers, or Keynote from the App Store until you do. The last two operating systems are now a prerequisite to those application installations.

I have since come across a solution, albeit a bit radical one. There is a software engineer that has issued an updater to allow older macs to use Catalina. I've loaded it and it seems pretty stable. I was able to get the latest version of Pages from the app store. I'm certain it's not Apple certified, but our older macs are out of warranty and support anyway.

If you want to give it a shot: http://dosdude1.com/catalina/

It was pretty easy. There's a video to watch before starting.

A couple of weeks ago I have had a purchase of Pages for High Sierra. But yesterday I reinstalled Mac OS. I didn't save Pages because I didn't see necessary - I purchased Pages recently and thought to buy it again. But I can't to buy it for High Sierra, only for Catalina, but Catalina is not for my iMac 21,5 mid 2011. When I reinstalled my Mac, I changed my Apple ID. Why I can't to purchase version Pages for High Sierra in App Store? The policy of Apple company seems very strange for me because I am old Apple user, I use iMac, Macbook Air and iPhone for long time. But now I need to think about change my tech priorities.
