I keep getting this error, The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.) I'm using FCPX (10.4.7) Mojave (10.14.6) on 2017 MacBook 16 gigs ram and 25 gigs free space on my HD

Try resetting Compressor.
Launch Compressor, go to the Preferences, to Advance, click the Reset Queue button, then choose Cancel All Jobs. Click the Reset Queue button again, this time select Repair Compressor. Reboot your Mac. See if that helps. I may, it may not, but give it a try, it's East enough to do.

Well, if sharing a master file works, you can try the following workaround:
1) import the master file you have created (select leave in place so as to not waste space with a copy of that file)
2) add this clip to a new project
3) export this project to dvd.
Rather than burn to the disc. Try exporting to hard drive to create a disk image. You can burn the disk image to the doc using the Finder.
Maybe there is some problem with a bad frame or something.
Does exporting to Master File work correctly?
Also, if you create a small test project - just add a clip or two, does not have to make sense - and export to DVD (destination hard drive, you don't want to waste an actual dvd on this), does it work?
This weeks video worked share worked!
I was hopeful but this also failed.
I didn’t have this level of difficulty until I recently upgraded FVPX to 20.4.7.
This is my complete set up and problem:
FCPX DVD Sharing Error
I'm using FCPX (10.4.7) Mojave (10.14.6) on 2017 MacBook 16 gigs ram and 25 gigs free space on my HD. Verbatim 8x DVD+RL DVD on a Matshita DVD USB C external drive.
I keep getting this error message while trying to Share my 60 minute Church Project (the Library is an a USB/Firewire 1 Terabyte OWC external HD). The process usually gets to about 55% when i get the following message.
The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.)
Slightly tangent comment: you can just press command-shift-4 and draw a rectangle to take a screenshot of that area of the screen; much quicker to do and it will be much more readable, too. The picture you posted is very hard to decipher.
Sharing to the Hard Drive also failed due to the same reason,
The operation could not be completed (com. apple.CompressorKit.ErrorDomainerror -1)
I did try burning to an Apple Super Drive before I tried the above, which also failed. (with the same message)
I have tried creating a new library, duplicating the project into the new library. I still can't get the DVD to burn.
I have also tried Compressor, which worked last week after I did my FCPX upgrade, but not this week.
My project is a 60 minute church service recored on Canon XF 100 Cameras with a Multi-Cam edit with audio sync.ed from Logic Pro X.
This has always worked before my FCPX upgrade to 10.4.7. I thought the upgrade would help my work flow, but that's not been the case
My Masterfile seems to be stalled at 15% (for over an hour). My best bet might be to start my project over again. I still have the original media. I'll see how that goes. I have a DVD from July I will rerun for this weeks church broadcast on cable. I'll post again if I have a problem. The project seems to run fine in FCPX.
Sorry, went for low res. because I'm not sure what I'm allowed to do on this site.
Don't worry. It's just that you don't need to take a photo with your camera or phone, and can do it all on your mac.
At least I learned how to do a screen shot:-)
I have suspected I have a corrupt file. I will try that next. I'm don't know how to go from a Master File to sharing a DVD. But It sounds like you might. I appreciate everyones help.
