If you can't trust what's on the box, you have to turn it on.

If you tap Settings > General > About you can see the "Capacity" of your iPhone X as well as the "Available" space left on it.

Not shown on the iPhone but memory related is that the iPhone X had 3GB of RAM and the Apple A11 Bionic chip inside.

You can't buy more memory.

You would have to get a new phone. The internal storage can not be increased.

If you bought it from the Apple Store, then look at the box. It specifies how much storage it has.

Note that the box in the photo you posted is NOT an Apple retail box.

As you've been told above, that's not possible.
