GMAIL PUSH NOTIES

Will the stock email app ever be able to do push notifications for gmail email addresses? It seems very odd that the most popular email provider (Gmail) has to have a third party app to support push notifications on the iPhone. I can't use stock mail app. Hopefully push notifications return.

Will apple ever implement gmail push notifications for mail app for Mac? There are no push notifications for Gmail on the stock mail app for Mac. How am I supposed to do simple stuff like doing my job if the e-mailing software bundled with my $999 extremely overpriced machine I just bought doesn't do its job properly by not telling me when I have received a new email? Its basically a 1000 dollar paperweight with a fancy lookin' apple logo on it. Woah. Big Deal. So. Will apple ever implement basic features that any email client has like notifying you about an email incoming?

Notifications Why don't I get any notifications of new emails despite setting it up to do so. Have 2 accounts G Mail and BT Internet Mail My way around is that I have a Yahoo app that I can load the email accounts onto and that notifies me when i have new mails but i don't like and don't use that app So I can then go to the mail manager I do like Spark and read the mails But that app wont give me notifications. Just would like a simple notification on my iPhone and iPad that tells me i have new mail.
