Hello, I too have been waiting for an update. I’ve been messaging them for weeks now and they’ve only responded with only terse, unsatisfactory replies.
They also never replied to my request for a partial refund, and just yesterday billed my credit card for another year’s subscription.
if I don’t receive any satisfactory reply from them by this Friday, I will report them to Consumer Affairs.
FYI here is the email I just sent them now:
Dear Smilebox Support:
Please generate another order request so I can leave feedback. The previous link expired.
I don’t appreciate not being provided any solutions with my refund request (whether partial or full) for the months I was unable to use Smilebox given the delay with your development team to updated the software for Mac OS Catalina.
Even worse, Smilebox just renewed my subscription without providing me any feedback to my comments about the software upgrade or refund request.
It is completely maddening to wait three days for a response from your team with a single sentence reply, such as “There is no update at this time.” Not even a solution or alternative to offer to tide me over.
Please figure out a solution as soon as humanly possible.
