Traveling out of the country with a new cell phone. I can’t pair my Apple watche. Just get red circle with an exclamation point.

I can’t pair my Apple Watch with my new cell phone. I’m traveling in Portugal. I just get a red circle with an exclamation point.

How to fix a red exclamation mark on Apple Watch

  1. Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of both buttons when you see the Apple logo.
  3. If the Apple logo doesn't show up, contact Apple support.
