Need to long press to start laptop, very very slow

Hi, I am using a MacBook Pro - Retina 13", Early 2015 model. With macOS High Sierra. I started my laptop after two days and there was a problem in it starting. On pressing the power button the apple start up sound/chime would play but stop abruptly. Tried this a couple times, with the same result. Holding the power button down for 10 seconds continuously finally worked and the apple logo came on the screen !

It went on to start but took ages(5 mins) to boot up after entering the password.

Since then the computer is extremely slow.

On reading multiple posts over here, tried resetting the SMC by following the instructions but to no avail.

Any and all kind of help will be really appreciated.

there are many reasons why a computer would be slow and since we aren't sitting at your desk it is impossible to know what's going on which is why one of our users here created EtreCheck Download it, run it, and then return here. Start a new reply and look for this icon:

I do understand. Please see the Etrecheck report on the link below. I am sorry I am not able to upload it right now because I do not have access to a computer and I am posting via my phone. (Funnily, the additional text icon is not available for text box on the mobile website) I had posted the same question 2 days back and had uploaded the Etrecheck report for it then. Since I did not get any response, I have reposted.
