Can I put a widget on the home screen of my iphone? This can be done on an Android phone and is quite handy.

There is a Calendar, and a Up Next, which shows the next event scheduled in your calendar, but those are in the Today screen. Just requires you to swipe. There is one for Notes, but I don't use that one, so I couldn't tell you how well it works.
