I just noticed today that my phone is not recognizing numbers that I have saved as contacts. Is anyone else having this problem? The contact is still there in my address book but when a text or call comes in, the number is unrecognized as the contact. I’ve had to go through and read no less than 15 numbers today.

Try going to Settings > Passwords & Accounts and make sure that the correct account, that has your contacts stored, is set up with the contacts switch on. I would then go to Settings > Contacts and ensure that Default Account is set to the correct account which has your stored contacts. If you believe that all of your contacts are stored on your devices SIM card, you can also select "Import SIM Contacts". I hope that this may help!
