How does one go about having iPhone dark mode set, but have it turned off for Maps? Maps are basically worthless when dark mode is being forced on by the OS...

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, basically what it comes down to is the only way to turn maps dark mode off is to turn dark mode off on the phone? Would be nice if there were a bit more dark mode granularity.

You're correct, currently you'll have to turn Dark Mode off on the phone.
