Do you have GPS only or a GPS + Cellular model?

Apple Watch -> Settings -> General -> About -> Model

Then Google "Apple Watch <model number here>"

Where did you purchase this phone? If you purchased here in the US and it is a GPS+Cellular, then contact Verizon for assistance.
