PyCharm installation problem

why can't i run PyCharm on my mac ? i've followed all the instructions on web/youtube but still can't open it. i clicked on the ".app" but there's no respond at all.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having issues installing an app on your Mac. I’ll be happy to help with this.

I looked up the requirements for PyCharm:

Download PyCharm

It looks like it requires ’64-bit versions of macOS 10.11 or later’. Mac OS X Yosemite is 10.10 and you’ll need to update to use this app. Take a look at this link to help you update your Mac:
