Hi everybody, I have a 12.9 iPad , October ‘17 model and recently 5-6 backlight bleeds appeared on the left side of the screen .From what I read in many forums the same problem is rather common issue for this model . Of course the warranty has expired and the cost is significantly high to replace the screen. I wonder if Apple is willing to initiate a replacement program since this is clearly a manufacturing defect .
Exact same problem. The first time I brought it in they replaced it. And now it’s happening to the replacement iPad (pro 12.9). It’s super disappointing because I’m using this tool to develop a business, and if it happens to the 3rd iPad they give me (assuming they give me another replacement), my Apple Care will have likely run out and I’ll be stuck with a faulty screen for a $1300 device!
